About Open Calls

Background

Kolektiv

Kolektıv was started as a community radio and cultural venue working in solidarity with non-profit organizations. In Decembre 2023, we launched Kolektiv Radio, a new radio station broadcasting 24/7 from Qylhani Vjetër 29, (20000 Prizren / Kosovo) to amplified music and issues that we care about.

Kolektiv Radio is a non-commercial community radio station based in Prizren, promoting underground music from the region and all around the world. One of the main purposes of Kolektiv Radio is to establish a community through experimenting with the new forms of musical practice. Everybody who are interested, curious, have something to contribute, or have any ideas to discuss and realise, and are eager to collectively learn through music are encouraged to be part of Kolektiv Radio. Besides its online platform, Kolektiv Radio runs its own space which is open for music organisations, jam sessions, listening sessions, discussions as well as for other music and multimedia related activities.

From our home in Prizren, we now organize monthly workshops, music programs, creative spaces and cultural programs. These are free to attend as part of our community outreach work. Kolektıf NGO is also involved in a number of collaborative projects with like-minded collectives, radio stations, and activists around the world.
